I am albe to synchronize calendar, contacts, mail, by GPRS connection.
With The local desktop, it is possible to synchronize.
With the Exchange server not.
It seems to be because the Activesync "goes to sleep" after ~2 minutes it
try to synchronize.
The message on the cell phone said "watting for network"....
When the Activesync is going to "sleep" I am unable to go to Internet with
the USB connection.
Don't you have any idea ?
I appreciate your effort for to help me.

The WM 5 Devices have replaced the Serial over USB implementation we had
earlier with a newer device/desktop networking solution built on Remote
NDIS, which upon desktop connection registers as a new Local Area Connection
and hence the network adapter interface that you see. When you cradle the
device, the DHCP server running on the device assigns the IP addresses to
botht the desktop and the device itself for the interface created.
Typically, (remember, these are configured by device manufacturers) the
desktop would be assigned 169.254.2.2 and the device 169.254.2.1.
When you say you are unable to sync, could you provide more info - do you
see errors? - Or can you simply not connect?

Hi,
We have:
Qtek S100 with Windows mobile 2003, 2003 se
Qtek S200 with Windows mobile
200(http://www.qtek.nu/europe/products/s200.aspx)
Windows XP SP1 and SP2
Outlook 2003
Exchange 2003 SP1
ISA 2004
We are able to synchronize Qtek S100 with Outlook (local pc) with
activesync
4.1 and beta 4.2
We are unable to synchronise Qtek S100 with Exchange with ActiveSync 4.1
or
beta 4.2
We are unable to synchronize Qtek S200 with Outlook or Exchange with
activesync 4.1 or beta 4.2
Why with the 2005 version it create a network interface ? with APIPA
adresse
169.254.x.x it doesn't use our DHCP ?
If I force it to use our range of IP address ActiceSync doesn't detect the
Qtek
If anyone has an idea it will be great !
Thanks
Denis
