Yes, probably. However, so far, you haven't told us anything much that
would help us help you. What PC are we talking about? It's running what
OS? What Pocket PC or SmartPhone device are you using? What version of the
OS is running on that device? How far into the sync process do you make it
with 4.2 beta, if your device is running Windows Mobile 5? If it's *not*
WM5, carefully remove whatever version of AS you presently have installed
and install 3.8. How far does it go?

You walked through the Troubleshooting ActiveSync 4.1 page from
www.microsoft.com/mobile?

I've read the groups, and i've tried the MS tech info but still cannot
connect to AS4.1.
I've tried installing the 4.2 beta, tried, downgrading to 3.7 & 3.8,
but still no joy.
I've tried changing Windows firewall settings, disabling the firewall,
but still nothing.

Can someone please HELP me.......
