Outlook 2003 is recommended and not required. I'm surprised the 700w didn't
come with 2003 though.

As for downloading it, no, it would have to be purchased.

I'm still not sure that's the root cause of the problem though. I just
threw that out there as a possible issue.

Then why is OL 2002 included on the CD that comes with the phone? Do you

I have no problem syncing on both of my WM5 devices (but never are a
700w) items with notes.

With WM5 and AS4.x Outlook 2003 is recommended but not required. I do
not know though if this is the cause of the issue.

Can anyone PLEASE help me? I have Treo 700 and Outlook 2002 with
ActiveSync 4.1. When I try to sync an appointment, task or contact with
a note in the notes field they will not sync. Has anyone else had this
