Hi,
The MSFP (Exchange 2003 SP2) and Windows Mobile 5 (AKU2) will support push
without SMS. However you have to enable it on the Exchange 2003 server.
MSFP is shipping now with Exchange 2002 SP2. As for Windows Mobile 5 with
AKU2 you need to contact your OEM and ask them if they offer it. Not all
Windows Mobile 5.0 devices are available with AKU2.

Hello-
I setup our server and a few phones running Windows Mobile 5 a few weeks
ago
and I have a few questions.
Is there a way to have true push from the Exchange Server without SMS? In
my opinion if SMS is involved, then Exchange Active Sync is not really a
push technology. What about the ability to look up contacts in the GAL?
I believe these and other advertised features are suppose
to be apart of the Messaging and Security Feature Pack. I can not find
the
MSFP anywhere, so I assume it is no out yet. Is there an ETA on its
release?
