UPDATE.
To check that the device is working well
I have done a full backup with SPB backup
Restored older backup of my PocketPC (moment that Activesync was working
well)
After the restore Activesync connection did work okay.
I have restored the actual backup again Activesync is not working
Conclusion: there is something wrong with the Activesync on my Pocketpc
I will play with the registry settings to see if i can find something.....:(

Yes ActiveSync application say "Connecting" on my home PC and at work.
my others device also WM5 (MDA-PRO) connects without any problem.
when i check the network connections.
PC
Status Connected
speed 10.0 Mpbs
IP 169.254.2.2
PocketPC
RNdisFn1 169.254.2.1
I can ping from my PC the Pocketpc
from the Pocketpc ping to my pc is also working
I use the Dutch version of the Activesync (problem?)
My MDA Vario is also Dutch
MDA-PRO is English
