ZoneAlarm blocks ActiveSync even when given full permission

I have ZoneAlarm 6.1 and ActiveSync 4.1 for syncing my Mobile 5.0 phone over
USB.

If ZA is running, when I plug in my phone AS goes into "Connecting" mode but
never gets past that stage.
If I shut down ZA, unplug the phone and try again, AS connects and
synchronizes perfectly.

The strange thing is, I have given full permission (Trusted and Internet
under both Access and Server) to ActiveSync Application (WCESMgr.exe),
ActiveSync Connection Manager (WCESCOMM.exe) and ActiveSync RAPI Manager
(RAPIMGR.exe)

What can I do to use ActiveSync with ZoneAlarm?
Thanks
