Re: AS 4.1 No sync with 2 PCs, both (!) connected to an Exchange Server

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Addendum:

Before I get some flames for not reading Chris' wonderful AS
troubleshooting guide (thanks man, please keep up the good work!) - I
did, but his hint:

"If you want to sync your Pocket PC or Smartphone with 2 PCs with
Outlook and the 2 PCs are both synchronizing with different Exchange
servers, you need to use a registry editor on the mobile device and set
the following key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\EnableNonLocalCrossPollination]
= (DWORD) 1"

is not working by itself. You still get the message that you have to
uncheck, say "Contacts" on one PC to get it sync'd on the other one.
The trick is (it took me 2 weeks and some headbangin' to find) to
additionally change the registry keys, where one partner's sync folders
(contacts, calendar a.o.) are encrypted (e.g.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Partners\{783AE4F6-4C12-4423-8270-66361260D4F1}\Enabled
for tasks) from 0x0 to 0x1.
