Is there more than one entry in the "My ISP" settings. If so, it needs to be
on "Auto pick".

I am also getting the 85020010 error, usually accompanied by a message
on the phone saying that the current connection cannot be used.

This prevents email from syncing over the cradle. Wireless
synchronization via ActiveSync does work.

Firewalls are off, I have done complete uninstall/reinstalls (4.1),
hard reset the phone, etc. Error reappears everytime the phone is on
the cradle.

I am not on a JASJAR though, this is happening to the teams I support
on either PPC and XV 6700 or on the Treo 700w.

Are you doing Sync to Exchange server through the desktop PC? Or syncing
with Outlook on the PC?
What O/S is the PC running? How are you connecting to the PC - USB direct
