Re: How to set up connection to wireless router with PPC6700

Right. That's the EAP stuff. You don't want or need to set that. So, when
I set up WiFi (after removing the settings for the APs that I previously had
configured), I tap on the SSID of the AP that I want to connect to. This
brings up a dialog that asks which network this will connect me to, Work or
The Internet. You'll have to answer that one on your own.

Tapping on the Network Key tab in the same dialog gives the choice of the
type of authentication (open/shared). Again, you have to know the answer to
that. Same with the setting for whether the key is automatically provided
or you have to enter it yourself (and which key index it is). Presumably,
WEP is the right setting for the Encryption.

Don't enter anything on 802.1x. That's the EAP stuff and, if you aren't
using that, setting anything there would be a bad idea.

Tap OK and it should connect. If not, you've entered the wrong parameter
somewhere.
