Re: Can't create a "partnership" with my pocket pc

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Raj, I am running AS ver 3.8 and have deleted the dll files that were
installed when I tried AS4.1. Also I am running Zone Labs free version of
their firewall program, and have the firewall in XP running too. When I try
to sync, I turn off the Zone Labs firewall. I have gone in to the program
control for both firewall programs and set up for the AS program. I also
have a HP 1910 that I have had for 2.5 yrs. I went in and deleted the
partnership before I tried to sync with the xv6600. After becoming quite
frustated I tried AS 4.1 and later found out through this news group that it
was not a viable alternative for WinCE 2003 OS. So I have removed AS 4.1 and
re-installed AS 3.8 . Tuesday 1/17 I established a partnership with my HP
1910, but no partnership with the xv6600. I thought that it might be the
cradle, and had another one sent to me. It (AS) is still not creating a
partnership through the new cradle. I have tried numerous times by going in
to device mgr and removing the device and restarting windows as was
suggested by Rob Borek (see post dated 1/03).

Thanks, Noel
