Oliver,

Try switching to WEP instead of WPA and see if it works. I had the
same problem and switched to WEP and it works fine. I have not been
able to fix this. I know of a number of people who have had this
exact same problem and switching to WEP fixes it.

I am also using an Intel 2200BG as has everyone who I know of that has
this problem. Different devices, laptops, firewall software, etc. The
wifi card being the only common element. Different driver versions as
well.
