ActiveSync 4.1 Problems PLEASE HELP

As a iPAQ virgin I am having a lot of trouble in connection and syncing my
PC and iPAQ.

I am running windows XP and ActiveSync 4.1 on my pc with a USB cable and
Bluetooth connections to my iPAQ HW-6515. There are no cards installed onto
the iPAQ.

When I connect my iPAQ into its cradle it automatically runs ActiveSync but
I get the following problems

1. The iPAQ automatically connects to the GPRS Orange until I manually
disconnect it.
2. Then it connects to the internet via the PC
3. The ActiveSync window reveals
Tasks Synchronized
Favourites Synchronized
Notes Synchronized
Quick GPS Synchronized
Calendar Sync status is on the device
Contacts Sync status is on the device
Inbox Sync status is on the device

When I try to run the Connection settings it reveals all three boxes ticked
and set to Automatic.

Err, HELP please....
