done- you are wrong.
locally, attached to the computer that has outlook, you can sync with
outlook- no exchange required
remotely, devices 2003se and early, can usually be set to synch over wifi,
internet, and a variety of other 'remote' methods-- with a pc
remotely wm5 devices can only sync with an exchange server.
