Sync 2 PPC-6700's

I just purchased 2 Sprint PPC-6700's for my wife and I. Whenever we try to
sync each of them (both on the same desktop), the AS states that the PPC
already has a relationship with another PC and forces you to create
*another* new one, or sign in as a guest. It seems that either AS or the
PPC's themselves are refusing to recognize past syncs. If I put my PPC on
the cradle and sync, it cues me to recreate a relationship. After that,
I'll put my wife's on the cradle and forces me to create a relationship on
hers. When I replace mine on the cradle, it once again forces me to create
a relationship on mine. I can't figure out what exactly to do with this
particular issue, and don't see anyone else with the same problem. I'm
running WinXP Home edition, using USB sync and McAfee Firewall/AV.
