Hi, I got similar probs on a Medion MD96700 PDA with mobile5 on it. (XP Pro
/Sp2, all firewall soft unloaded)
Activesync 4.1 UK downloaded on 31.12.2005 installed after complete removal
of Activesync 4.0.
USB device is recognized and drivers loaded (Medion USB mobile - so it
sounds OK)
But Activesync won't ever find a device, no matter what USB-port I tried -
even on a second PC (my lap running a french XP Pro /SP2 with FW disabled
for the test).
MICROSOFT can U hear me - I am starting to get really frustrated: this is
between MS Mobile 5 and MS XP, theres no third party - so get the problem
solved!
regards
John
