Some often over looked settings
Check to see that your desktop ActiveSync is set correctly. "Internet", if
your PC can connect to the internet without a proxy. "Work" if your PC needs
a proxy to connect to the internet. Ensure that the correct proxy was
provisioned on the device correctly. "Automatic" mode on the desktop will
try to figure out which of the two that your PC is connected to and
configure the proxy on the device.
Check that the GPRS is setup correctly.
Check that the "Internet" set to "Auto pick" on the device
(Start->Settngs->Connections->Connections->Manage existing connections (the
one under "My ISP") .
