Money lost sync on update

Hi folks,
Not a problem, but maybe a wee heads-up that might help someone else
caught with this "gotcha" like I was. I sync my iPaq with my laptop every
day, and recently purchased Microsoft Money 2005 so I could sync that as
well. Everything worked smoothly until Money on the laptop told me there
was an update for the program available, and I really, really ought to
download it. So I did, and it downloaded and installed, and I can't see
any difference it's made in the program, at least not until the next
sync. Then I found that the iPaq install of Money no longer "saw" the
laptop installation. I had to uninstall it from the iPaq, and then
reinstall it to re-establish the sync. Then all was well again. I think
in future I'll tell any updates that offer themselves to get lost. Not a
major thing, but really, they could have warned me. Hope this might be
helpful for someone if caught by the same thing.
