Hi Roy,
If its a firewall issue, then you should be able to sync once the ports are
unblocked. You can refer to
http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/activesync/windowsxpsp2firewall.htm and
http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/raj/ZA.html. But since you are able to install
the applications on your PPC, it doesn't seem to be a firewall issue.
Just wondering if the device is able to connect when none of the options are
selected under Tools -> Options in ActiveSync. Also are you running any
anti-virus?
