Re: Using IR to SYNC

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Sorry that I can't offer more... I learned long ago to install only the AS version that shipped with the PPC and keep my fingers crossed, so, that has kept my experience with AS problem solving _relatively_ low.

Know it's frustrating, but can you revisit the http://bevhoward.com/ASync.htm#GETCONN section and post the exact contents of the dialoge box... the exact phrases contain subtle clues that help long distance diagnostics.

Restating the exact connection settings and connection settings status messages as well as the activesync options on the pcc give clues as well.

Do you have direct access email accounts setup on the PPC and, if so, is your PC connected to the internet?
