Hi There,
Someone facing this problem, you may wish to have a look at the solution
from Adrian Knack
Hope this will help..please keep posted if it does not... Thanks.

"I really got an answer from Panda (finally!), and..
...it helps!
The best thing is: it's not even proprietary, so I can post it on the board,
so here it is:
The problem (my problem, that is) arises when you upgrade from Panda (some
older version) to Panda Titanium or Platinum 2005. There they have changed
the way Outlook scanning is performed, but did not properly deregister a DLL
..
So you have to go to http://cexx.org/lspfix.htm and download the tool
"LspFix".
When you start that tool, you will see a list of dlls, one of which is
"pavlsp.dll". CHeck the "I know what I am doing"-box (nice thing to provide
that, indeed!) and move the dll from the "Keep" list to the "Remove" list,
press finish, reboot, and ActiveSync is on the road again!
I could imagine that this tool could be helpful in other problem areas with
ActiveSync, so you might want to bookmark the URL."
