Re: Is it possible to sync from a remote cradle?

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi,
Theoretically it will work as you described. However the assumption is that
there is no firewall or proxy between the Pocket PC and the PC.

Also, not all VPNs will allow you to connect the Pocket PC and access the
corporate network. This is for security reasons. So in this case, Ethernet
will not resolve the problem.

Finally Windows Mobile 2003 does support a VPN however you need to ask your
network administrator about configuring it. The VPN support is limited to
Microsoft servers. Also, there are 3rd party VPN clients for the Pocket PC.
