Re: Sync-ing a Symbol PDA with XP

We have had mixed results using USB-Serial converters for ourselves and also
at client locations - some work easily and some just don't. The one I'm
using currently is the Edgeport InsideOut USB converter which supports two
serial ports. WinXP machines just recognize it and install the correct
drivers via plug and play and then all the other things we've tried like
connecting to Symbol devices over ActiveSync worked too.

I don't recall if we tested the particular adapter you're having problems
with, but I know our office tried several that just didn't work for us.
