I appreciate the help mate
have followed your document previously and just went through it all again to
see if missed anything.
This time I am at least getting the VPN connectivity box pop up, but it ends
up saying:
VPN server problems. Verify your username and password, and try again. If
the problem continues, turn the device off and try again.
I managed to get the box pop up to at least try by going to Network
Management and selecting 'My Work Network' for programs that connect to
internet and 'VPN_CompanyName' for programs that connect to a private
network. The VPN_CompanyName has all the correct settings, and I have tried
by IP as well as FQDN.
On my router at home, I have added PPTP in and out, and on the outbound I
have just selected ALLOW always but havent put any IP addresses in, just to
say everything on my LAN can go out.
On the Inbound sI have said ALLOW always and put in the LAN IP of my Ipaq,
and on the WAN Users, start - have entered the external interface of my
companies router (same IP the VPN uses).
I couldnt find anything for PPTP passthrough on my netgear DG834 router,
maybe its included in the PPTP service 1723?
