I checked Messaging to see. There are no accounts for Text Messages,
Outlook Email, or MMS. I deleted one that was there for Mmode.

I have added an account for email to/from my ISP, and it is set to
"Never" for checking messages.

The only app I've added to the phone is SmartphoneNotes. I don't think
it needs to get on the internet.

I'm out of ideas.
