Thanks very much for the reply, Raj.

I had already run Detect & Repair in Outlook.

I ran Add/Remove Programs and it showed that CDO had already been
installed. I also verified that mapi32.dll is in the windows\system
directory. For what it's worth, I never see any ActiveSync errors,
including the "Action Required" dialog that is the subject of this
knowledge base article.

Any other ideas?
