Well, most of the data that you sync should be current on your desktop, such
as calendar, contacts etc. The files should still be in a sync'd files
folder. There is also a hidden directory on the PC that holds stuff that may
interest you. On and XP machine it is
C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\Application
Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Profiles\(your PPC name)\Synchronized Files
Backup.
That's there regardless if you do backups via AS or not. That folder goes
away when you delete the partnership I believe, so hopefully you read this
before doing that.
