Syncing across two computers

I am using activesync 3.7.1 on two computers (work laptop for my calendar
only) and my home pc for everything. The work laptop has just been set up
with activesync.

Problem: After I had synced with my laptop, when I went to sync with my home
computer that evening it tried to set up a new partnership. Then when I tried
to set up the new partnership with my pocket pc's name, activesyn said that
name is already in use and can not be used for the 'new' partnership.

Question: is there a problem with syncing my pocketpc on two computers? Is
there something I should be setting up on my pocket pc to allow it to be
synced across two compueters:

Laptop (NT 4.0), Activesync 3.7.1
Home PC (XP Home), activesync 3.7.1
Pocket PC (T-mobile pocket PC phone edition - MS mobile windows 2003).
