Hi,
Here's part of the problem. ActiveSync does not support using a proxy to
access the internet. This is because ActiveSync acts like a proxy to the
Pocket PC and
there is no setting to setup the proxy.
Also keep in mind that the speed will vary depending on these factors:
1. How much is the internet being used by the PC? If the PC is download
lots of data then the Pocket PC will download data slower.
2. How many applications are running on the Pocket PC? Try a soft reset and
then open Internet Explorer on the Pocket PC before attempting the other
apps. There is a delay in opening the apps since they are not in ram
running already.
Also, I would suggest trying a true network connection rather than trying to
use ActiveSync to connect to the internet.
