Sprint Backup will do that. The real solution as you know is just to keep
it charged. If you are not using it, as you say, stick it in the cradle. If
it is a matter of taking it with you each day, put it back in the cradle to
sleep at night. If you are really not using it, send it to me. No, just
kidding. If you are really not using it, you should be able to get by
several days without a charge. Maybe something is staying active, and
draining your battery. You might want to invest (money or just time to load)
in an application manager that makes it easy for you to ensure all the apps
are shut down. If nothing else, if you are not going to use it for a
considerable amount of time, soft reset it to shut down all the errant apps.
