My machine is a clean install of Win2k SP4 (Debug) and I have problems installing anyway. I think however I got rid of the crashing symptom by installing 3.7 instead of 3.7.1.
During the installation I get this error message at the end of the install process (when activesync says updating system):
The process _INS5576._MP.exe generetad errors and must be closed.... etc. etc. I never get the message that I need to restart my computer.
this is the end part of my wcesetup.log file:

Any ideas why my install stops there?
