Problem: a single device connecting through USB generates
the follwoing error message - 'Critical communications
services failed to start. Try resetting the mobile device
and then connect again.'

I have performed the following to resolve problem:

* soft and hard device reset

* reloaded Active Sync software version 3.7.1

The result is that new partnerships cannot be established
and the error message represents itself.

Thanks for any assistance.
