The error message reported as reported in Ms KBA 276563: "Synchronization
could not start because this desktop computer could not access necessary
..."

I run detect and repair and tried many other things from previous threads in
this NG and consulted various webs but no joy. This Dell D8300 is less than
two weeks old running Xp Home. The desktop has Outlook 2003 and my pda is an
IPAQ 4155.

This is my office computer which involves Novell client 4.90 and GroupWise
6.x. I tried to follow instructions in Ms KBA 195507, but could not find how
to switch from IMO to CW.

When I use either a usb cable or BT, I get the same error message. In fact
there is no problem is files and favorites, but with the calendar and
contacts

Your help is appreciated.
