Note: you need semi-colon delimited records or end with a line break and can mix and match - so 3 names, semicolons between them, the start a new line after the 3rd.

received in an email to the address/contacts book?
Say, I receive an email from someone as I'm a member of their emailgroup.
I can see the email addresses of allgroupmembers in the"To:" line, and, of
course can reply to all. But, I would like to add those addresses to my
address book/contacts without having to do it one person at a time.
thanks
I know this is a really old thread, but I just came across it while
looking for info on how to do it in Outlook 2007, and it gave me some
ideas so that I was able to get it to work. I wanted to repost the
process here in case anyone else is trying to do the same.
The trick is not to copy/paste from the original message itself, but
to get to the internet headers and copy/paste from there. To get to
the internet headers for an email message, see here: http://128.175.24.251/headers.htm.
You'll see a block of text like this (give or take some lines):
Microsoft Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0
Received: [...]
Reply-To: <foomc@xxxxxxx>
From: "Foo Mc" <foomc@xxxxxxx>
To: "Bram Pallj \(Barco\)" <bramall@xxxxxxxxx>,
"Brjs Pellmam \(Barco\)" <brjsellma@xxxxxxxxx>,
"Cery Parmsh \(Barco\)" <ceryarms@xxxxxxxxx>,
[...],
"Pmr Perm \(Barco\)" <pmreerm@xxxxxxxxx>,
"Vachl Pesy \(Barco\)" <srrlmmr@xxxxxxxxx>,

Now copy and paste the entire header block into a text editor. Trim
all the cruft from before and after the list of email address that you
are after, including the header lable (i.e. "To:", "Cc:", "Bcc:",
etc.) and any white-space before the addresses. You may want to strip
any escape characters that are present (such as "\" in front of
parenthesis) but this is not required. You can leave any quote
characters (single ['] or double ["]) around the name portion of any
email (as in "Foo Mc" <foomc@xxxxxxx>). You should end with a proper
list of email addresses separated with a comma for Outlook's sake.
Now copy the list from the text editor, go beack to Outlooks, and:
1. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Distribution
List.
2. In the Name box, type a name for the distribution list.
3. Click Select Members.
4. In the Select Members dialog, right-click on the "Members" text
box, and paste your list
5. Click OK.
As long as you aren't prompted with a Check Names dialog then you got
it right and the new email addresses should appear in the distribution
list
Hope this helps someone,
Chris
