you can try editing the style the signature uses.... but honestly, I think you are putting too much emphasis into making email look like a printed letter (with a letterhead).

Ive seen many people have problems with Outlook's spell checking in.
their signatures.
Does any have solution for signature where there is logo at the top,
middle text (i make it 'type here' for my clients) and bottom part
with adress, disclaimer etc. Spell check does not work then (its
outlook 2003).
I obviously set 'always suggest replacements for mispelled words' and
'check before sending'. Also word is chosen to edit emails.
THe only way now to make it check is to sleect text then tools -
language - set language and untick ' do not check spelling or
grammar'. I wished it was possible to set it once forever to be
unticked but havent found the way to do this. Even with it unticked it
will only underline worng spelled words - no suggestion on right
click.
I managed to solve it for new emails when setting this signature file
as stationery :D But my client wont accept it not working for replies.
I found the way to go over it with removing logo and 'type here' text
but then its types in black (need to change it manually) and on the
very left (my signature in html is centered table with padding for
text). Client finds it unacceptable and does not believe its not
possible.
Please tell me there is a way to make it 'spell checkable' by default
without using any tricks or there is any way Microsoft will make it
possible or I will loose client.

Some people in my client's company have outlook 2007 - I was unable to
find a way to put own stationery over there, and so spell checking
does not work even for new emails :/
