I am trying to import my Yahoo! email account to my Outlook program, and it's
downloading ALL the emails I've been sent for the past 8 years. Can I limit
how many email messages I receive on my computer?
So use Yahoo's webmail interface to create folders into which you move your mails. You shouldn't be saving all your mails in the Inbox, anyway. Once you moved them all out into another folder (and one that Outlook can't reach since it only gets the data items in the mailbox, aka Inbox) then move back into the Inbox how many you want to retrieve at a time.
