Outlook 2003 issue with Word 2003 as editor.

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

When attempting to change the options to use word as the editor in
outlook 2003 I instantly get the prompt "A program is trying to access
e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow
this?" This happens when ever we hit the new E-mail. It does not
stop us from being able to send or even see the addresses.

I have tried to change the security settings but all that does is
change the security features for everything. If I change the settings
back to not use Word as the editor it no longer prompts me for
approval.

Thanks in advance if anyone has seen or knows how to fix this.
