Re: outlook send error

As I mentioned, I am not a specialist but I do not understand, if I have 6
or 7 e-mail accounts in there why do ony 1 or 2(yesterday when I visited
this client again) give me an error and not the other ones,
Also, perhaps I did not correctly specify the error I get (sending reported
error (0 x 800ccc87) .....) and why did I never got this error before in
the same situation, meaning strange network and NO visible e-mails in outbox
ready to send?
Still think there are two options (malicious code on my system though
ad-aware, spybot and symnatec do not seem to detect them) or just an error
with my outlook. If this would be malicious code are there any other tools
to detect this kind of problems.
Thank you for your advise,
philip

This has nothing to do with whether there is anything to send. Polling
will
check your incoming and outgoing abilities to receive/send, irrespective
of
whether there is anything coming or going.

After furious head scratching, Philip Leduc asked:
| The problem is not that I cannot send e-mail , I am not a specialist
| in this but I do know that I need to replace the smtp server of the
| network I am logged in to.
| Now, usually when you do not have any mails in your outbox, there is
| no error message if you do not change the smtp servers of your
| accounts, so that is exactly my question; how can I have an error
| when I have no e-mails in my outbox?

|| Are you using the SMTP server attached to your client's network or

||| when I was at a client site at their network and opened outlook I
||| noticed that I get an error message,
|||
||| Task 'philipleduc-e-mail - "Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0D) :
||| 'Unable
||| to find the e-mail server. Please verify the server information in

|||
||| First idea do I have some kind of virus/trojan horse or whatever it

||| going on. Is there any other ways to detect what is going on (list

||| Could I be on the wrong track and jsut have to restore outlook?
|||
