error sending/recieving

I have been using outlook 2002 for many months, . all of a sudden now I get
message that says "sending and receiving reported error (0x800cccod) unable
to find e-mail server. please verify server info. which I did and
everything seems correct. I have deleted and reentered info. I am able to
use outlook express with same info but I am not happy with express and want
my outlook back. Any suggestions? I use windows xp. Thanks
