Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi,
Having gotten lots of excellent advice on this group and having noticed
more than one of the MVP's have books for sale, I'd like to support them as
I'd like to be able to handle more of my Outlook goodies on my own when
possible. Having said that, I'm not in a major rush to get it done; thus,
the question, is the next major upgrade coming soon or is it not expected
until Vista hits the scene?

Next question, as for which book to buy, I'm just a home user who uses
Outlook for basic mail and some minor calendar events--keeping track of my
shifts, scheduling and hours worked--and the usual contacts so I don't have
major network headaches although I will probably set up a home network on my
next computer purchase simply because I'll own two and might find it fun to
setup a network to expand my knowledge.

So, I guess what I'm saying is that I'm not a total idiot so I don't
need the simplest how to ever written but, by the same token, I'll never be
scheduling and handling the contact list for General Motors. If it's not
too much to ask, would the writers and readers/users of the Outlook books
mind a comment or two on what I should buy and when? By when I simply mean
that I don't have a pressing need for anything right now but if the next
version is still likely to be a year away, I'd like to go ahead and buy
something now if for no other reason than to support at least one of our
MVP's.
