I think I did that. After I create the new profile, what do I do?

The easiest way to get rid of a ghost PST file is to start over with a new
clean mail profile. If the first one didn't do the trick, try another one.
There is no need to do any exporting. Just use the PST file that stores your
existing data as the default store for the new profile.
