Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
After furious head-scratching, MattO asked this group:
| Using WindowsXP explorer, select a file, right click -> Send To ->
| Mail Recipient.
| Outlook launches new mail message with attachment & a default message:
| The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link
| attachments:
| <attached filename>
| Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent
| sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your
| e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled.
| How to remove or change this message?
| Searched all of C:\ for text string “Note: To protect against computer
| viruses”
| Searched regedit for text string “Note: To protect against computer
| viruses”
| No hits…
| Any ideas?
