Most likely it is a Linksys router problem. Try turning on one of the two
firewalls and connect directly to your ISP's Cable/DSL modem and try sending
the message. If my hunch is right, then you need to adjust the MTU of your
machine down since the Linksys is acting like a black hole router.
Here is something that should help you learn where in the registry to set
the MTU. As for the value, start with 1492. If that value doesn't work,
try 1460. You shouldn't have to go below that if you have a broadband
(cable/dsl) connection.
