Had the same problem and think it is related to a timeout when looking
up the Server address to resolve it.

To fix: In the network settings I made sure that lmhosts lookup was
enabled. Then I edit the hosts file in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and defined the messaging server in
there using the localhost entry as the example. Worked first time.
