Get back to what I'm saying about the novice to an NG, not everyone
has a "real news reader". Oh, I forgot doesn't OE provide the ability
to create an NNTP account, why yes. I guess most non-professional NG
people looking for help may be using that interface. Now try telling
OE your suggestion.

Yes, I know MVPs don't work for MS but they have an ability to at the
very least consider pointing the novice to the right NG
[microsoft.public.internet.mail] for OE questions.

An NG is a place where people of all varing levels of experience are
looking for help, there is no defense for displaying bad attitudes or
snide remarks to go look it up and most certainly suggesting an MVP
point out the right NG is appropriate they are here to help.

You have no arguement here, this is a NG where people ask for the
answers that includes the answer to where do I go for help even if
they didn't explicitly ask for it. People with the attitude of "what
you dumb sh_t don't you know where to look - how to do a google search
should be take a vacation and let some one else handle the question.
