Outlook 2003 is supposed to work with more than one account. I would try
making a new profile, adding your hotmail account, then hers and see if it
still errors. If it does, then it's goofiness with the accounts and probably
will never work with more than one. Or it could be just server problems (the
msn/hotmail pop servers were down for several days) - try it again in a few
days.

FWIW, none of my hotmail accounts work in OE but they all work in Outlook.
It's driving me nuts... :)
