At work I have set up rules that seem to be client only
that redirects my e-mails into relevant folders. I want to
know if it is possible to set up a rule that is on the
server that will send a notification e-mail to another e-
mail account or my mobile(we have an sms server to send
sms messages) to let me know that there is a new e-mail in
my inbox. So that when I'm not in the office I know when
I've got a new e-mail. I can do this with the out of
office function but I don't want the out of office reply
sent to the sender. I can also do this with the inbox
assistant by selecting the 'have server reply' function,
but this send the message to both the sender and my
mobile. All I want is the notification to be sent to me
and not the sender when my client machine is not logged in.
please help.
