Having a POP3 account and an Exchange account in the same Outlook profile is
NOT supported. It may work but the program can become unstable and do
strange things. It is recommended that you have your POP3 account(s) and
Exchange account in their own profiles. Exchange and POP3 are two very
different types of mail transport providers. You can have multiple pop3
accounts in a profile but the profile that has the Exchnage account should
be the only mail account in that profile. You can use the same PST for both
profiles if you like.

Under cause in this article you we see support boundries article 234936 but
Microsoft has removed the article from their database, I don't know why.
