Of course you can. For example, Kevin01@xxxxxxxxxxx is completely different
from Kevin02@xxxxxxxxxxxx The messages from each account will go to their
respective inbox. However, since September 2009, hotmail does not allow
downloading of messages using outlook unless you have installed Outlook
Connector. Even then the messages are all sent to one single inbox unless you
create a filter for your messages.
Have you tried Windows Live Mail (WLM) yet? WLM is quite good if you want a
basic email & newsgroup clients It still sorts your messages according to your
email account.
If you have any other private email accounts then these may be difficult to
route them to their respective email box because all accounts are treated as
one united account. I am using Yahoo.co.uk and hotmail for most things and WLM
is just the right tool for me.

I am proposing to have 2 email addresses that differ only in respect of the
text before the @ on two different Vista Home Premium p/c on the same home
network
Is it possible to getmail to each email address to only be sent to it's
respective p/c and not both (to sort on the portion before the @)
I set a new Pop 3 a/c up on the second PC from which I can send & receive
but was getting some of the mail for both addresses received on it
Thanks
