Outlook Startup in a domain

i have outlook 2003 on an XP SP3 machine. outlook 2003 is configured for RPC
over HTTPS and has been working fine. however, now when i go to my office
which is in a domain, i still have to logon when i start outlook after DC
authentication.
what changed recently that i can reset to?
