I looked at the PC this morning and I am unable to recreate the issue.
The only conclusion I can draw from that is that the steps outlined in
Nikki's post worked but required a reboot of the machine after following the
steps.
Thanks for everyones help on this issue.

Resetting the address book should fix this. Explain how you did so so we can.
make sure you did what was necessary.

Sorry for the confusion I will describe the third screenshot as best I can
as
it the best example of the issue.
To create the third screenshot I did the following:
1) Created a new email.
2) Clicked on the To: button to bring up the Select Names dialog.
The screen caputure is that of the address book window that pops up.
The Select Names control is not being drawn correctly. There is no
address
list or text boxes and buttons for the To, Cc and Bcc fields that normally
appear on this dialog. You cannot select any addresses beacuse the
interface
is not present. Also you can see that the drop down control is being
misdrawn, that control is not selected in the screenshot and is being
drawn
as an empty box extending down off the bottom of the screen.
I also noticed when looking at it again today that I unable to move the
Select Names control to a position where I can find the bottom edge of the
control to make it smaller.
I followed the steps in Nikki's suggestion and that did not solve the
issue.
I beleive the address lists are there but are not being displayed.
I am guessing that I have a corrupted dll that is not being removed during
an uninstall.
Normally at this point I would reinstall Windows but because this machine
has a business critial app on it I will not be able to do so until
Christmas.
Any suggestions?

So would I, if necessary. That's what doing what I posted first would
have
told us.

I would refresh the address book by removing the service and
then re=adding it, fresh.
- Click on the Address Book Icon
- Select TOOLS
- Select OPTIONS
In the "When sending mail, check names..." box, select the OUTLOOK
ADDRESS BOOK and remove it.
At this point I usually log out of outlook, but I'm not sure if you
have
to.
Then go back into the ADDRESSING options (see above). This time
click the ADD... button and add the OUTLOOK ADDRESS BOOK
again.
The order that the address books are added to the service usually
dictates where they show up on the drop down list for the client.

A picture is worth a thousand words, except in this case. State your
problem
clearly and include the steps to reproduce it. The pictures aren't
helping.
Make sure you clarify the data store you are attempting to display in
each
case.

I am talking about the blue bar on the side that coming is from the
show
names drop down box. The addresses show up behind it, I just chose an
empty
contact list so I didn't have to blackout the names in the picture.
I logged onto the machine and configured my email and the same issue
occurs
so I do not beleive it is a corrupted profile.
Here are two more screenshots:
Clicking the Address Book button from the inbox:

Thanks.

That tells you that you are not displaying the Contacts Folder in
which
your
electronic addresses reside. Either display the correct folder from
the
dropdown in the address book view or if necessary configure your
Outlook
Address Book Service correctly:

I have a computer that when anyone opens up the Outlook Address Book
it
does
not display properly. I have uninstalled Office and reinstalled
which
did
not fix the problem. Here is a link to a screenshot

Any ideas?
